P25i-M Bluetooth Setup
This tutorial will show you how to setup your P25i-M Bluetooth card reader, it is recommended that you apply these settings first before connecting your card reader.
Use the following steps to Setup your P25i-M Bluetooth Apple approved Card Reader.
- Example of a Apple Desktop
- From the Apple Desktop tap Settings
- Tap Bluetooth
- Toggle Bluetooth to ON. Make sure your MFi-P25M card reader is charged and turned ON (you should see a green light on the card reader) Select P25i-Device - Not Paired from the screen
- Enter your 8-Digit code PIN code. Note the PIN code is located inside the P25i underneath the roll of paper. Select Pair
- Make sure the paper is properly placed back into the P25i-M (light should be Green) You should now see P25 "Connected" Now you can open up the iDeposit.net App from the Apple desktop
- Select Settings (cog icon) from Home Screen
- This is your Application Settings
- Turn on Send Track Data Leave all other settings the same
- Tap Card Reader
- Make sure MFi-P25 is checked
- Return to the Home screen tap to select Credit Cards then Process-Sale
- Connect the P25i-M card reader to the Apple device (the card reader light will be a solid blue) Tap Swipe Card button on the bottom left corner
- You have 20 secs to swipe a credit card. The credit card information will auto-populate (if the sale times out try again)
- Type in the amount then tap Process
- Confirm the sale
- You can Email Receipt or Print Receipt (the printed receipt is for the customer to sign)
- Tap Print Receipt again to print out a customer copy
